1998 GT Dyno Compe BMX Bike

Last Updated on January 6, 2022 by FAB Jim The Cyclist

If you are like me, you dreamed of that sweet, expensive BMX bike when you were a kid.  I got stuck with the cheapo bikes, but this is a fine example of the good ones.  Have a look:

Chromoly frame is all chrome.  20” wheels have alloy hubs and rims.  Pegs are on the front and rear wheels for doing cool bmx stuff.  This thing freewheels and has hand brakes.  I always had the coaster brakes.  Way better than anything I ever had, oh and it’s got the fancy gyro stem so you can spin the bars around while doing your rad tricks.  A really sweet ride.

MSRP when new was $281.  Pretty sure all my bikes were less than $100.
