Vibrelli Bike Floor Pump Review

Last Updated on November 7, 2021 by FAB Jim The Cyclist

After I started cycling it became clear a good pump is really important.  Road bikes especially need to be pumped back up regularly.  Being frugal I spent a lot of time reading reviews and searching for something that would fit my needs at a good price.  Now that I’ve done all the work, I want you to benefit too!

Vibrelli Bike Pump

Eventually I found the Vibrelli bike floor pump on Amazon.  The price was good, and it seemed to have all the right features.  It can be used with both Presta and Schrader valves without any sort of adaptors and has a psi gauge.  160 psi is the maximum so that should be plenty for any bike tire.  It also has a nice sturdy base for all the pumping.  Even comes with a small glue-less puncture kit that I have never used and a needle inflator for balls.  You don’t want flat balls.

Now I’ve been using it for about 4 years with no issues.  And for me that is quite a lot of use.  Every couple days or so I pump up my road bike tires and have quite a few other bikes I periodically inflate, plus all the family bikes.  Has worked great with no problems whether on a Presta or Schrader valve or high-pressure road bike tire.  So, I recommend this item for anyone getting into cycling.  There are cheaper ones out there, but I don’t know you want to risk it. I’ve had some bad pumps through the years, remember those weird foot pumps?  Think I ended up having to use my hand with those stupid things because they jumped all around otherwise, and I don’t think the gauge ever worked.  And you don’t want a pump with a weak base that falls over when you try to single hand pump it.  If you have arm’s like me, you can pump it with one hand while sipping a good beverage.  Or maybe you can browse on your phone, think of the time saved.  Don’t deprive yourself of that convenience with a weak pump.  I remember back in my early mountain biking days I had Presta valves and always had to find this small adaptor to make it work with the pump.  That thing was always elusive.  So, start out with the right bike pump, I don’t think this one will disappoint.

  1. A good pump is important, as is one that lasts and is repairable. My Silca pump is >47 years old. I have replaced a few parts over the years. While it was expensive, it was way cheaper than buying a new pump every 5-10 years if they don’t last.
