Roamer Bicycles History

History of Roamer bicycles isn’t easy to find, the best information we have is from the badge which usually states “Roamer D.P. Harris NY”.  D.P. Harris didn’t make bicycles, but they marketed and distributed bikes made by HP Snyder out of Little Falls, NY.  So, I’m confident this brand was manufactured by HP Snyder.

Here is an example of one of their bikes:

Roamer cars?  I’ve seen it suggested that the name may have been a collaboration with Roamer cars, but I’m not sure.  Roamer cars ended in 1929, and many of the bikes I’ve seen appear to be from the 30s and 40s.  Also, the logos don’t look at all similar to me.

If you read this and have more information on Roamer bikes, please either comment or email.  Also looking for more images to share.
