Venzo SPD MTB 6066 Clipless Pedals Review

I randomly ran into these great pedals when I was looking for new cleats.  They look great, are really light, and at the time they were just $20 on Amazon.  Price has come up a bit since then, but still an amazing deal, have a look:

Specs

Cleat: Compatible with Shimano SPD MTB cleats

Weight: 290 grams

Body: 6066 alloy

Axle: CNC machined Cr-Mo

Tension: adjustable

Installation and Performance

Easy install with a hex wrench.  One thing I noticed with these is they are really easy to clip out of.  I almost thought I would have to increase the tension, but I’ve had no issues and now prefer the really easy clip out.  These pedals perform just as well as my much more expensive Shimano pedals I own.

Rating

I’ve used these for several months and I have no complaints.  For the price these things seem amazing.  At 290 grams they are some of the lightest pedals you will find and perform the same as more expensive SPD pedals I own.  I’m rating this 5 out of 5 stars.
