Now this is a really neat and very old bike, a 1936 Schwinn Cycleplane Cruiser.

It originally would have had a tank and a headlight on the front fender. This one is a bit rough, but still interesting to see how different the bars and frame are from newer bikes. 26” wheels with a coaster brake and 18” frame with a 21.5” top tube. Super neat bike, how about that kickstand? A great piece of bicycle history. Different from modern bikes, but still very similar. Restored it would still be a very nice ride, I am sure.

I love that kickstand. My first bike, a “way too big” 28″ Gary had one just like it. That one also had a framed piece of plywood for a back carrier. Happy New Year Jim. Allan
Happy New Year!
I love these antique bikes. They are so unique because of all the craftsmanship put into making them.
Yes they are. Like looking back in time.
Wow! So neat. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome! Happy New Year.
What does the price tag say?
It’s still for sale. $650.
That is one beautiful vintage bicycle. I love looking at the oldies still staying good after all these years! 😊
I love a bit of vintage. Look at those handle bars and that stand. Not too keen on the seat though. Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome. Lots of character with this bike.
