Microshift Centos 10 Speed Front Derailleur Review and Installation

Last Updated on January 12, 2022 by FAB Jim The Cyclist

I was looking for a nice old school looking derailleur that I could get new for my Surly Cross Check build and landed on the Microshift Centos groupset.  The group I have is new, but a slightly older version and very silver.  It is a 2×10 groupset so the front derailleur is a 2X.  The newest Centos group is an 11 speed.  It looks great and I’m hoping it works just as good, check it out:

    1. It’s a lot of fun. I think it’s going to have the look I was going for. Hoping I get all the parts tuned right so I like riding it as much as looking at it. I didn’t start out with the idea of it being a not Shimano bike, but it’s definitely worked out that way.
