One great accessory you should get for your bike is a seat bag. With a nice bag you don’t have to worry about losing your stuff out of your pockets. I’ve had my Ibera seat bag for a few years now and it has worked great. It’s not very big, but it holds my iphone, wallet, and keys well. Plus, it comes in many great colors to match your bike. Here it is looking great on my Felt.

Attaches to your saddle with Velcro on the rails and seat post. Mine has stayed secure with no issues. It is also water resistant to keep your stuff safe. As you can see in the image it has a place to clip your rear light for safety.

If you need to carry a lot of gear I recommend you also get a backpack. Check out our review on this Sunhiker backpack:

Do you keep a spare bike inter tube in the saddle bag or is it better to keep it in the backpack?
I always keep tools and inner tubes in the backpack. If I’m using just this smaller bag the phone is my emergency kit to call for a ride. 🙂
Thanks! I’m trying to figure out how to be more streamline and efficient! You saved me a bit of trial and error.
